John M. Churchill is a pianist, composer, and researcher. He composes and performs in such a way to evoke the wide scope of human emotion. Using the melody as his voice and harmony as the landscape, each piece is meant to create an ever evolving metaphor. Fascinated by the relationship between music and narrative, John’s music has evolved to leave listeners feeling as though each piece is a story in which they are a part of. His compositions and research explore the intersection of music, the mind, and the meaning that emerges.

He currently lives in Austin, Texas where he writes, performs, and mentors student musicians.
